The New Zealand woman found murdered on a beach in the west of Libya has been identified as Lynn Howie.
The New Zealand Herald reported that Howie, 46,was a regional public health protection officer working in Wellington and Wairarapa. It is understood that she was in Libya for a visit.
The British man, Mark De Salis, who was found alongside Howie after the two were shot dead, apparently in an execution style shooting near Sabratha, was also identified today.
