Libya’s National Oil Corporation (NOC) reported today that total daily production reached 1,487,723 barrels. Crude oil production reached 1,438,560 barrels, while condensate production reached 49,163 barrels per day.
The NOC said this is the highest production rate recorded since 2013, bringing the corporation closer to achieving its previously announced strategy of producing 1.5 million barrels of crude oil per day.
The production rate was announced during a meeting held this morning at the NOC's Tripoli headquarters where NOC Chairman, Masoud Suleiman, commended the achievement of the local companies and the efforts of all their employees across their various specializations and roles.
The meeting included members of the Board of Directors, directors of the boards and management committees of the operating and subsidiary oil companies, and directors of relevant departments within the company.
The Chairman praised their sacrifices and boundless dedication, which were key to achieving this result and this accomplishment, especially given the difficult challenges and circumstances the company is facing.
He also stressed the need to move forward at the same pace and with the same determination, to reach the required rate before the end of 2026, in order to support the Libyan economy and achieve the renaissance that all the Libyan people aspire to.
