The Japanese Embassy in Libya revealed yesterday that a Libyan ministerial government delegation will visit Japan from 7 to 19 July.

The delegation will be led by Mustafa AL-Manea, Head of the Executive Team for the Prime Minister’s Initiatives and Strategic Projects and the Special Envoy of Prime Minister Abdel Hamid Aldabaiba.

The delegation will include the Minister of Oil and Gas, the Minister of Economy and Trade, the Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), the CEO and Chairman of the Libyan Investment Authority (LIA), the Chairman of the Renewable Energy Holding Company (REHC), the Chairman of the Greenstream Company, and the Director General of the Libyan Economic and Social Development Fund (ESDF)

The Japanese Embassy reported that during their stay in Japan, the delegation is scheduled to participate in the Second Japan-Libya Economic Forum and hold discussions with Japanese companies.

The Embassy said it expects the visit will further strengthen the bilateral relations, particularly in the energy sector and other fields.
